Theme: Your Thoughts on Organ Donation

Artist statement:

We all have been through a stage when we were young that we imagined ourselves to be a superhero, with superpowers that can help people and the universe. This artwork is inspired by my childhood dream. Now that I'm an adult, I chose to be a nurse so that I can reach out to people who needs help. We all have different ways of helping mankind. This superhero-comic book style depicts that little kid that is still inside each one of us.

As organ donation is a chance where you can help others in need, bringing another life to be with their loved ones longer. The slang word ''YOLO'' meaning ''You Only Live Once'' helped me to come up with the phrase “Your Organ Lives On”. It also reminds people that we are living once in the world. Why can't we share our organ to give another person a chance to prolong their lives and still continue do their role in the world? A part of you will continue to live on in another person. It’s an immeasurable gift that you can share.
