Artist statement:

I have learnt that the families of organ recipients receive jars containing lucky origami stars as a token of appreciation during Donor Appreciation Ceremony. The lucky star jars shaped like organs in my artwork are meant to symbolise hope for a new life and the better future that will come out of a successful organ transplant. The colours of the glass jars are meant to resemble the iridescence of bubbles, which is something very pretty to me.
Heart - the heart will break, but the broken live on.
Lungs - you allow someone to breathe easily
Kidney - you bean so much to me
Cornea - eye love you
More than Me - Beyond this Life.
