Artist statement:

In my artwork, I drew a pair of lungs connected to a tree as the tree represents a life. The inspiration of adding a tree to the lungs came as it is something about giving life. The tree provides oxgen to the lungs, for the lungs to perform its primary function - allowing one to breathe.
