Artist statement:

We all can make a difference in others' lives. Through my art piece, I would like to raise more awareness on kidney failure and reach out to more donors in Singapore. The cartoon kidney character in a box is ready to be accepted. The warm colours of the kidney and ribbon, contrast against the cool background, are meant to express the feelings of the recipient when he opens the box. I hope this cute composition could also reach out to more young people.
