Artist statement:

Whenever we gaze out at night, we see that we are not alone. From the lit-up windows of HDB flats, we see fellow Singaporeans living their daily lives: we see mothers putting their children to bed; we see couples watching television together. We see lives beyond this life, and we see lives more than ours. Giving these lives a heartbeat means giving them a chance to continue with their simple yet heartwarming lives. Only with the donation of our organs, we can then give these lives beyond us - a continuous heartbeat.
