Theme: From fears to dreams

Artist statement:

The artwork shows two big trees in the shape of lungs, to represent lungs providing oxygen for life. There is a rocky stone path leading from a dark misty area to the top, where there is light. The light symbolizes hope, and a new beginning to life. The dark misty area represents the fear of death and the unknown. There are plants everywhere, especially nearer to the light, to represent life as well. There is also a heart with plants growing from it to show how donating a heart has the power to give life to another person. All in all, I want to show that organ donation can help someone to be free from their fears and give them new hope, new light.
