Artist statement:

The connection of life is very special and unique. People help each other out even when they are complete strangers. In my artwork, I am focusing on people helping each other when it affects their life. On the left side of the artwork, there is a person's heart transporting blood to the other heart on the right which is failing. This shows the connection of life among people. The tears on the left side of the artwork represents the sadness and pain of the person's family members and the dying flowers represent that the person is sacrificing his/her life for someone else. The butterflies and the blooming flowers on the right side of the picture shows that the person's life is going to start again and it is going to be wonderful.
