Artist statement:

A kidney is composed of various flowers. It is meant to represent how organ donation may allow the beauty of life to blossom once more, the various flowers have their own symbolisms. The daffodils represent 'rebirth'; the ixora, a commonly sighted flower represents how almost any other common person can donate their organs; the delphinium is to remember loved ones who have passed, and the dark red carnation represents affection.
