Artist statement:

This artwork shows that by donating organs, one can help someone have a new beginning in life. It shows that the act of donating an organ is akin to finding the missing piece in the recipient's life so that the recipient can start life afresh. This is similar to solving a puzzle. When the missing piece is found, the puzzle is whole.
