Artist statement:

Did you know that you can help someone overcome their fears and experience their dreams? The kidney bean on the left shows how dialysis patients suffer every day. They cannot travel, have to visit the hospital a few times a week and can only consume 500ml fluids a day. Their family members are also often worried about losing their loved ones. By donating a kidney, one can help become the bridge which will lead the patient to a happier and better life, where they can do the things they wished to do together with their famiies as shown in the kidney bean on the right.
