Artist statement:

The illustration shows a person stepping confidently from an abstract shape of a heart organ into a lush landscape where colours and shapes come alive, heightened his sense and he can proudly enjoy life and be optimistic. In the far background, the same man is flying a kite with his child to show that theres still much to look forward to and theres a second chance for organ failure patients. I use bright colours to illustrate the spectrum of life and how things can be uplifting, even in the darkest of times.
