Artist statement:

Sight - A vital sense in life which many take for granted and a handful who desire to have. The eyes play a significant role in our lives in numerous aspects. My art piece embodies a silhouette of a blind young girl enclosed in a pupil to symbolise her craving to see. She has her head buried in her chest from the emotional turmoil she faces. However, she keeps a glimmer of hope to be able to use her sense of sight (if there is ever a chance) and the floral design in the sclera represents that lifetime dream.
