Artist statement:

It is a new day - fresh start, fresh energy, new opportunities. Get your mind right, be thankful, be positive and start your day right. My first expression about the theme ‘A new beginning’ is it is a fresh start after an organ transplant as it is painful to suffer from all the pain, for example, chronic obstruction pulmonary disease, asthma and others. The big orange sun on the left represents the situation pre-transplant. Every breath that one takes is as painful as the desert. It is dry and hot, without any living things. However, on the other side, the blue and green mountain of trees show that every breath taken is fresh, new and full of life. In conclusion, we need to step up and appreciate all the good things in life. Let us be grateful to people who made us happy, they are charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
