Artist statement:

Life is a puzzle and it will take a while to figure things out. It is full of twists and turns but at the end of the journey, everything will come together and things will fall into place. The stories told by organ transplant patients illustrate the joy and ability to do active activities they could not do prior to their transplants. Now, they could go out and walk more distances, spend more time with their families, move more rigorously and enjoy the gift of life. The sketch-like illustrations is to capture the spontaneity of life that they undergo and each scenario captures a specific moment of their journey, among the Singapore cityscape and landmarks. Red highlights of the organs emphasises the vital and pivotal impact it has on their lives. At every end, a new beginning awaits.
