Artist statement:

I want to use my artwork to portray how organ transplant patients wait anxiously for their chance to get a heart transplant so as to live on. Regardless of race, language or religion, our nation can do a part in providing a new life and hope for someone. Flowers are a representation of renewed life that sprout from the heart. Let my heart beat again, will you?
