Artist statement:

With a new and healthy heart, one can go anywhere or dream of going anywhere. I draw a pastel green mountain, resembling the shape of a new heart that allows one to visit places of one’s desire. The bridges and connectors represent the ability to journey afar physically. The houses illustrate the craving to build lasting bonds with others without having to worry about unexpected parting. The pastel colours used in work and the birds in the sky symbolise the hope and freedom that one can dare to dream and enjoy with a new heart.
