Artist statement:

This artwork is about raising hope and creating happiness. It shows a hot air balloon in the shape of a heart, being filled into the air. This symbolises the organ raising hope for a new life. The hot air balloon is also colourful to bring a joyful and happy spirit to the patients receiving the organs. There are a few flowers that are growing from the basket of the hot air balloon. The flowers represent the organ transplant patients, and they signify the blooming of a new and long life. Hence, by creating happiness and having hope to live, the patients can have their lives brightened from the darkness and see the light in their future.
