Artist statement:
Shrouded in darkness, he was unable to see the light in his life. Yet, a small glimmer of hope shines in, and he clung onto it desperately. It led him out of the exhaustion, helplessness, loneliness and deep down he knew of his arduous journey ahead. The road ahead was endless and tedious, but he took the first step in, for no longer did he want to stay in the darkness.
