Artist statement:

The theme for my artwork is “In Search of Hope”. The idea of my artwork is to show the beauty of having the second chance to see in life. My artwork focuses on cornea transplant where the girl in my artwork has brightly coloured eyes looking at her beautiful and magical surroundings. By emphasising her emerald green eyes, my artwork illustrates the great sense and personal satisfaction we achieve by giving others a second chance to look for the hopes and dreams that they have been searching for.
