Artist statement:

This artwork shows the patients’ perspective of receiving an organ as a gift. The impact made by this gift is like having another chance to live again, just like when a plant gets another chance to live when it is being watered regularly even if it is dying. Therefore, having another chance to live even when you are dying relates to not giving up hope to live again, and this is shown in my work.
