Bridge of Hope, Print Making

Artist statement:

The heart with two hands, represents that it is being given to someone that can change their life by starting anew. The plane symbolises freedom, freeing from the chains that I drew (which I call ‘medical chains’) as they hold what every patient needs for them to live, for example taking injections and medicines daily. When the patient receives their new organ, the chains are broken. The earth represents that everyone can play a part in helping those in need for a new life. The flowers are called daffodils which is known for ‘new beginnings and rebirth’. My whole art piece is mainly about the help given to people that are not well to live their life again to the fullest.
