Artist statement:

My artwork is about a patient who is currently unconscious as she is still in the process of undergoing surgery for the transplant. The battery represents her “life” almost at 100% as she walks towards the kidney with rainbow gushing out, representing her reaching to full happiness (100%). The trees slowly goes from dark to having colours, signifying that she’s reaching happiness. The bridge has holes and cracks as reaching happiness is a rough journey and is not easy. The kidneys are like the gates, and once she passes through the gates, she will start a new life.
