Artist statement:

This artwork depicts one donating their heart to someone who’s ill. Hourglass and the melting clock represents the lack of time each patient have before they reach their end. The flowers and wings symbolises freedom, strength and happiness to a new beginning. Donating organs can save one’s life and release them from sadness and despair. Have a heart, donate a heart.
