Artist statement:

This artwork depicts a person who has received corneal transplant and regains her vision eventually. Importantly, it brings her new hopes and dreams. The oval shape represents her eye with the sun ray represents hope; trees represent peace; colourful plants on the ground represent new life. Lastly, there is a bridge leading to the light which is the hope.
