Artist statement:

I designed this live on poster with a butterfly and heart. The theme I chose was “expression” as it refers to what donated/ failed organs would do if they have the ability to express themselves. My design expressed the adrenaline felt when a person has a new organ donor, which I imagine them feeling like they have butterflies in the stomach the nervousness and the happiness mixed together.
