Artist statement:

Nowadays, everyone is always capturing their everyday memories with cameras to rewatch and look back on in the future. This is why I thought of drawing a camera as an everyday object. I chose to draw a cornea as the camera lens since they have similar functions - capturing sights. Next, the addition of hands in my art is a metaphor for 'lending a hand', which is why, to me, this art of picture taking is like organ donation. I hope to have clearly expressed this in my artwork.
