Artist statement:

My artwork portrays the emotional journey of both the donor and recipient. For a recipient to receive a transplant, the donor and his / her family members are faced with sadness with the loss of a loved one. However, the donor's heart beats and pumps again when it is safe in the recipient, forming a perfect cycle.
