Artist statement:

It is depicting about the people who need the organ will always wait for the hope that there is a donor even if the chances are bleak. The butterflies symbolise hope and the eyeballs in the butterflies show the donor giving the hope to the blind that even if they do not find a donor, there is always a chance waiting for them. The eyes surrounding the person represent the many different people who are willing to give up their cornea to them. This shows that the person who donates their cornea is the hope that the victims are waiting for.
