Artist statement:

This work is based on the theme of 'Expression' that shows how donated organs would act if they had the ability to. It depicts the happiness of newly donated organs in helping their owner live. The activities of each organ is different and varies with their roles, for example, the heart is seen beating on a drum to mimic the heartbeat sound. Meanwhile, the liver is seen playing with a building blocks as it uses different extracted nutients to build up a body's immune system. In conclusion, this work shows the new life that an organ receiver obtains after donation.
