Artist statement:

This artwork features two characters. They are meant to represent anyone, anyone could be the one to donate their organs. The painting represents two people going through an organ transplant, one giving their organ away to save someone else, and one receiving the organ gratefully. The different flowers around them represent different meanings, for example the lavender flowers represent purity and serenity. The almond blossom flowers represent hope and love. Prunus flowers represent endurance, and columbine flowers represent strength, wisdom and peace.
