Artist statement:

This piece shows the emotions of failed organs. It signifies the organ's feelings of being used like a puppet on strings. It is slowly breaking down due to its owner's neglect, despite it only trying to help them. The several signboards show how the organ would be separated from its owner, and then thrown to the side without a second thought during transplant. However, one look at the fluffy roundness of the clouds will tell you that the organ still cares for its owner, and continues to serve them until its dying end. This piece encapsulates the resentment the organ has, and its desperate concern for its owner, as well as the painful acceptance of its fate.
