Artist statement:

The meaning behind it, is to save others so they can live a happy life, thanks to the organ that was donated to them. My illustration shows a heart with roots of little leaves as a substitute of veins. The purpose of designing it differently is to show the similarity of organs and nature. Organs have to be healthy so that it can be donated. Same goes for flowers, it has to be fresh to give it to others. The illustration of the sun is to remind people to smile while they are alive. Overall my illustration meant to expose a fresh garden with a beautiful heart.
