Artist statement:

The artwork shows the heart organ walking up a hill side by side with a person at different stages of her life. It shows that an organ stays with you forever as your companion and accompanies you for your whole life through various challenges. The intention of the artwork is to show that your heart is very important to you and will be with you at different stages of your life. The sunset represents a new beginning that the heart is walking into as it can be donated to another person to accompany him through his life.
