Artist statement:

This artwork showcases a girl who just had corneas donated to her. You can see as she takes off her bandage, she has tears in her eyes as she is finally able to see her surroundings and is able to go on many new adventures that she once could not go on. Her bandage slowly becomes a film roll, on the film roll you can see many amazing places and things that she once could not see and do. Even though my artwork looks very complicated because of the colours, it has a simple meaning behind it; the girl who once could not see can now go on many big adventures with her new companion.
