Artist statement:

My artwork depicts a figure skater being able to pursue her passion freely as she is supported by a healthy, vibrant heart. The strings connecting her to the heart symbolises the blood flowing through her veins as she reaches for the stars. Whenever pursuing a hobby, our organs are our companions, and we cannot go far without them. I hope everyone can appreciate their organs and shoot for the stars, just like the figure skater in my artwork!
