Artist statement:

Sometimes, people like to do nice things, like giving your loved ones flowers, organising a birthday party, etc. Donating an organ is something that requires a lot of bravery and sacrifice, but some people do it because they know that it’ll save someone’s life. Sometimes it is done anonymously, which is exactly what this art piece is about. By donating an organ, a life is being saved. Just like leaving a gift in someone’s postbox, their day is made, and if you donate your organ to ones that need them, their life is made. This work is meant to express the positive mindset when choosing to donate an organ, with warm vibrant colours, it really brings out the bright side of life, that there is always a long road ahead.
