Artist statement:
It has been 33 years since Singapore's first liver transplant in 1990.
This piece features 33 activities that could contribute to the physical, socio-emotional and psychological well-being of a person. The liver is anthropomorphised as an expressive companion creating, sharing and celebrating the heartbeat of life.
The caption encourages viewers to become people who live, love and laugh boldly with an intended pun on liver for a light-hearted touch.
The black and white palette helps create the look and feel of a colouring book to invite people to add colours to their life adventures :)
