Artist statement:

I have decided to work on the theme, My Organ, My Companion as my Live On competition for this year. My idea for this artwork is to show how the organ would be spending time with me inside a human body, living life to the fullest by enjoying what I can do now. As you can see, each body part represents the different activities like walking in a park, listening to music and etc. These are the things that I would be doing with the current healthy organs that I have. I decided to replace the veins with these brush strokes to represent that they are all connected. I also decided to use this kind of art style as I think it will give the artwork more details and more texture.
