Artist statement:
A child with a donated heart gains a new chance at life. She gets to experience all of life’s joys and struggles with her new companion, Heart. Although Heart no longer beats for its original owner, it now has a chance to beat for someone else and to care for the child. As they stand together on a field watching the starry sky after a long day of adventure, one of the brightest star seem to be attracted to them, shining warmth on them, as if thanking the child and Heart for taking care of each other.
