Artist statement:

Organoids are self-assembled three-dimensional tissues derived from our stem cells. These cultures can replicate to match the cells of our organs and with the right environment, organoids can be cultured to match our own genetic makeup as well. The artwork imagines how organ transplants will be revolutionized with the help of our own stem cells. Myorgans.sg intends to promote awareness amongst individuals to culture their own organoids and track their growth in real time via the app. The app also allows users to view their entire DNA makeup and its useful information with the ease of a touch. Users can also interact and share their experiences within the myorgans.sg community.
