Artist statement:

In “Blossoms of Compassion”, I delve into the profound theme of enduring love across time, juxtaposed against the harsh reality of heart failure. The central motif, a heart intertwined with flowers, symbolises the devastating loss of a loved one to organ failure. The withering flowers emerging from the failed heart poignantly illustrate the fragility of life, while the flourishing blooms sprouting from healthy hearts represent hope and vitality. Through this imagery, I aim to evoke empathy and understanding for those affected by the profound grief of losing a loved one to organ failure. My artwork serves as a call to action, urging viewers to consider the precious gift of organ donation as a means to offer hope and healing to those in need.
