Artist statement:

The drawing is of a little girl hugging a heart, symbolising the warmth and comfort of life. Her hair spreads out and there’s a glow illuminating from her to show hope spreading out to everyone who needs help as well, representing love and care from the girl to everyone. The hair strands continue to spread out of the page to show how hope can continue to spread on and on from one person to another so that we all can play a role in making a difference in someone else’s life.
