Artist statement:

Using mechanical gears, this artwork illustrates the significant and long-lasting effects of organ donation. The heart, which serves as the primary gear, represents the importance of a single organ donation and the ongoing motion and survival it makes possible. Each gear symbolises the connection between donors and recipients. The artwork's industrial motif honours the legacy of organ donors by guaranteeing that their donation persists over time and keeps the cycle of life moving forward.
