Artist statement:

My artwork depicts an exchange of a special watch between a donor and a patient. There are flowers encircling the arms of the donor, and they represent the hope of a new chance at life being given to the patient. The watch has an anatomical heart seen through the clock face and it represents the organ that the donor is giving to the patient. The patient’s life was at stake, but the donor gave them the watch that gives them the chance to continue on with their life. This exchange changes the life of the patient completely and lasts through time forever.
