Artist statement:

In my artwork “Shared Life Essence”, I illustrate the profound impact of organ donation through the possible opportunities that unlock after a person receives a donated heart. I found out that the green ribbon, to transplant patients, stands for giving hope and sharing life through organ donation. Adding it to my work further brings out my message on how this pivotal moment symbolises the transformative power of organ donation, unlocking a future filled with possibilities and opportunities. For me, life’s essence is found in simple joys like shopping with friends, graduating from school, travelling the world, the hope of someday getting married with children and living a stable life with responsibilities. It’s remarkable to consider just how one donated organ can catalyse such transformative potential. I believe that organ donation not only saves lives but also enables individuals to pursue dreams and create memories that endure across time.
