Artist statement:

This artwork celebrates the beauty of paying it forward through organ donation. A treasure box overflowing with precious organs represents the kindness and generosity of donors, who selflessly give the gift of life to those in need. As the birds take flight, they symbolise the freedom and liberation that comes with this act of kindness, not only for the recipient but also for the donor, who finds joy and purpose in giving. Through this artwork, we're reminded that our organs are a treasure, and sharing them with others is a precious gift that keeps on giving.
