Artist statement:

My artwork explores the theme of hope and transformation through organ donation. It begins with my hand, symbolising my commitment to donating an organ. Through advocacy and raising awareness, more donors come forward, represented by many origami hearts. The hands reaching out at the bottom depict recipients, hopeful and waiting for an organ. These hands transition from monochrome to vibrant colours, illustrating the recipients' journey from despair to renewed hope and vitality. This piece reflects the profound impact of organ donation and the collective effort needed to save lives.
