Artist statement:

‘Child of the Stars’ illustrates how individual efforts, no matter how small, can come together to form a beacon of hope for patients in need of organ donation. This piece visualises hope as a constellation created by diverse individuals contributing in their own unique ways.

The efforts of one may seem insignificant, but together, we can transform lives. From doctors and nurses providing care, to chefs and artists bringing joy, everyone can be a guiding star. These collective actions form a strong pillar of support for patients facing their darkest moments.

By bringing joy, sharing sadness and spreading kindness, we can light up the universe for those affected by illness. For the child of the stars, it all starts with me - and with you.
