Artist statement:

My artwork showcases the beauty of organ donation. In the centre of the artwork, there is a man outlined in white dots, this represents that he has already passed on but his organs were donated to the three people hugging him. These three people are able to help him live a life he could not experience through his donated organs, and they are all grateful he has given them all a new chance in life. The envelope at the bottom of the artwork was sent in by the man who has passed on when he was 18 as he decided that he wanted to help other people even after he has left this world. This in turn has inspired the three people who received his organs to carry on the tradition by promoting organ donation and educating people on how organ donation is impacting society.
