Artist statement:

Two people sit in the space between life and death - an angel, a girl who has passed on, and a boy on the verge of death. The angel gives her heart to the boy, a puzzle piece that matches him perfectly. The heart glows with a golden light, softly illuminating the darkness. Now, their fates are woven together by gratitude that transcends space and time.
